Police Release CCTV Image Following Serious Assault in Bridlington

Humberside Police have issued a CCTV appeal as officers continue to investigate a reported serious assault in Bridlington.

The incident is reported to have taken place at around 11pm on Wednesday, 15th July 2026, outside a takeaway on Flamborough Road.

According to police, a 54-year-old man was assaulted during the incident and suffered a head injury.

As part of the ongoing investigation, officers have carried out extensive enquiries, including speaking to witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area before and after the reported assault.

Despite these efforts, police say enquiries have so far been unsuccessful and are now asking for the public's help to identify two people captured in CCTV images who they believe could assist with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises either of the individuals shown, or who has information that may help officers with their enquiries, is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference 26*99023.

Police are urging anyone with information, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward.
