Tri Nation Darts players competing at the British Open Darts Championships
The British Open Darts Championships will make a welcome return to Bridlington Spa this September, bringing one of the sport’s most historic tournaments back to the Yorkshire coast.
The event, held in conjunction with the Tri‑Nations Darts Organisation, is recognised as the longest‑running darts championship in the world, having first launched in 1973. This year’s competition also offers players the chance to secure qualification points towards the 2026 World Championships at Lakeside in December.
Running from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th September, the Championships are expected to attract around 1,000 competitors from across the UK and Europe, with categories for men, ladies, and youth boys and girls.
The action begins on Friday afternoon with the England International Men’s Trial, followed by the British Open Pairs on Friday evening.
Saturday is set to be the busiest day of the weekend, featuring the British Classic Men’s and Ladies, the British Open Youth, and the World Para Darts British Open.
Sunday will host the British Open Men’s and Ladies Championships, culminating in the grand finals, which will be broadcast live worldwide.
Spectators can attend across the weekend, with free entry on Friday 18th September. Tickets for Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th are priced at £10 per day, while under‑12s go free all weekend. Weekend tickets are also available upon request.
