Bridlington police secure closure order on Great Meadow Road property
A property on Great Meadow Road, Bridlington, has been issued with a full closure order after successful action by the Bridlington Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) at Beverley Magistrates Court.
The order follows ongoing concerns and reports from local residents about issues linked to the address. Officers say the closure is part of continued efforts to tackle crime and anti‑social behaviour in the town.
PC Sawyer, from Bridlington NPT, who assisted with the closure, said the team remains committed to putting the community first.
“We, as a local Neighbourhood Policing Team, will continue to put our communities at the heart of what we do. We are aware of the issues which have arisen at this address in Bridlington and we continue to work hard to make our town a safer place for us all. I’d like to thank everyone who continues to report their concerns to us. Information from our local communities enables us to build a bigger picture around criminality in our town. We would encourage anyone with concerns about crime or anti‑social behaviour in the town to continue reporting this to us. Please speak with our officers when you see them out and about, visit our website or call our non‑emergency number 101.”
Police say the closure order will help protect neighbours and reduce further disruption, and they are urging residents to keep reporting issues so officers can continue to take action.
