Humberside Police have arrested two men and recovered three vehicles following a series of keyless car thefts reported recently in the Bridlington area.

Officers say investigations are ongoing, but the arrests mark significant progress in tackling the rise in thefts involving vehicles that can be unlocked and started without a physical key.

Police are continuing to urge motorists to take extra precautions, including keeping vehicles locked and storing key fobs in faraday pouches or other signal‑blocking devices to prevent criminals from intercepting key signals.

Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity by calling 101, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
