Humberside Police are investigating after a vehicle was stolen from a driveway on Thoresby Close, Bridlington, overnight.
The theft happened between 11pm on 4th June and 6am on 5th June 2026, when offender or offenders approached the property and took the vehicle without the keys.
Officers are appealing for anyone with CCTV or video doorbell footage, or anyone who noticed suspicious activity in the area during the night, to get in touch. Information can be passed to the non‑emergency number 101, quoting occurrence reference 2677185*.
Details can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via the Crimestoppers website. Callers do not need to leave their name and may be eligible for a reward.
Police have issued the following advice to help reduce the risk of vehicle theft:

Keep your vehicle locked at all times

Ensure alarms are activated

Consider a steering wheel lock (preferably Secured by Design accredited)

Don’t leave keys or fobs where they can be easily found

Use a faraday pouch for keyless entry vehicles

Park in a garage or secure location where possible

Park within view of CCTV if available
