Bridlington families are in for a treat this summer as the Magic Lantern rolls into town — a travelling treasure chest of stories, music and puppetry that has been delighting communities across the country.
This curious contraption, accompanied by its lively crew of storytellers, musicians and puppeteers, will set up at Bridlington Queens Park Play Area on Wednesday, 22nd July, offering a full day of imaginative fun from 10am to 3pm.
Part of the National Year of Reading, the Magic Lantern invites visitors of all ages to experience storytelling in a fresh and playful way. Expect laughter, surprises and a sprinkle of magic as the crew bring tales to life right on the doorstep.
There’s no need to book — families can simply drop in, explore, listen and join the fun. Best of all, the event is completely free, making it an easy summer holiday outing for parents, carers and children alike.
East Riding Libraries are encouraging everyone to come along, soak up the creativity and enjoy a day that celebrates imagination, reading and community spirit.
