Police and Council Secure Closure Order at Kirkgate Mews Property

A three‑month closure order has been granted by the courts today (Friday) for a property on Kirkgate Mews in Bridlington, following an application submitted by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The order was issued after repeated reports of anti‑social behaviour linked to the address, which had been causing ongoing disruption and distress to nearby residents.
Officers from Bridlington’s Neighbourhood Policing Team attended the property this afternoon alongside council staff to enforce the council‑led closure.
PC Hoggard from Bridlington NPT said:
“Closure orders such as this one are an important tool in protecting the local community. We continue to use every tool at our disposal as part of our Clear, Hold, Build initiative, together with our partners, to target offenders, support residents and rebuild communities.”
