Man Charged Following Reported Attempted Assault in Bridlington

Officers have charged a man following reports of an attempted assault on Rectory Walk in Bridlington at around 10.50pm on Sunday 1st March 2026.
Adrian Lee, 37, of Rectory Walk, Bridlington, has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm, attempted burglary, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court at a later date.
It was reported that an altercation took place between two men known to each other, during which the victim stated he was targeted with what he believed to be a crossbow. Thankfully, the victim did not sustain any injuries.
