Drugs Warrant Executed in Bridlington After Rise in Violence

Police have carried out a drugs warrant in Bridlington following concerns about rising violence linked to an address in the Well Lane area.
Officers from the town’s Patrol and Neighbourhood teams executed the warrant last week as part of a county lines intensification operation. Cannabis was found inside the property, and a suspect has now been summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
Police say that during warrants of this kind, they also look for any signs of vulnerability and work with partner agencies to safeguard anyone who may be at risk of exploitation.
Humberside Police added that they remain committed to targeting those who bring drugs into the area and cause harm within the community. They say operations like this rely heavily on information from the public, which can be shared in person, by calling 101, through the force website, or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
