Bridlington Based Theatre Group Shares Panto Magic with Beverley Families

Harbourside Theatre Group is heading back to Beverley next month with a spring pantomime performance of Dick Whittington.
The Bridlington‑based group was invited to return after the success of its special Christmas showing of Jack and the Beanstalk, which toured the East Riding as part of the Holiday Activities and Food Programme.
That festive performance, organised by Abilite and supported by the Department for Education, SEND services, HAF and East Riding Leisure, gave families the chance to enjoy a traditional pantomime in an inclusive and welcoming setting. A temporary stage, full lighting and sound were set up at Beverley Leisure Centre to bring the show to life.
Harbourside Theatre Group says it’s delighted to be returning this April to create more “pantomime magic” for local families.
The spring production of Dick Whittington will take place on Thursday 9th April at 12.30pm at Beverley Leisure Centre on Flemingate.
Audiences can expect all the classic pantomime ingredients — colourful costumes, music, audience participation and plenty of laughs.
The group says it’s proud to continue working with local organisations to keep theatre accessible for families across the region
