Harbourside Theatre Group Announces Cast for Aladdin and His Magic Lamp

Harbourside Theatre Group has officially announced the cast for its festive family pantomime, Aladdin and His Magic Lamp, set to bring magic, mayhem and Christmas cheer to St Mark’s Church Centre, Bridlington this December. With rehearsals now in full swing, the talented ensemble of children and adults is preparing to deliver a show packed with laughter, music, dancing and plenty of audience participation.

The stage is set for a sparkling Christmas adventure as Harbourside Theatre Group prepares to whisk audiences away on a magical journey with its festive pantomime, Aladdin and His Magic Lamp.

Rehearsals are now in full swing, with a talented mix of children and adults bringing the beloved tale to life at St Mark’s Church Centre, Bridlington. Expect laughter, music, dancing and plenty of audience participation as Aladdin, Princess Bo Ling, Dame Twankey, Ping, Pong, Wishee Washee, the Genie and the dastardly Abanazar take to the stage for a show packed with fun and festive spirit.

Written and co‑directed by Mike Hammond, Bridlington Gold Radio’s Breakfast Presenter, Hammond, who also stars as Widow Twankey, said:

“Rehearsals are already underway, costumes and props are coming together, and everyone is excited to welcome audiences young and old to this magical family pantomime.”

The production marks Harbourside’s third pantomime.

Performances run throughout December, with Friday evenings (4th, 11th, 18th) and Saturday shows (5th, 19th) at 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children under 16 (plus £1 booking fee).
