Pie Eating Man Brings Mental‑Health Podcast to North Bridlington Library for SpringFest

Visitors to this year’s SpringFest can look forward to an uplifting hour of conversation, creativity, and community as Mark Grimes — better known as The Pie Eating Man — brings a special live edition of his popular mental‑health podcast to North Bridlington Library on Sunday 8th March, 12pm–1pm.
Grimes, author of The Pie Eating Man’s Guide to a Healthy Mind, will be joined by acclaimed local writer C.L. Jennison to explore how reading and writing can support wellbeing. In a second segment of the event, he’ll also speak with Vicky Foster, whose work often centres on lived experience, resilience, and the power of storytelling.
The session promises an honest and encouraging look at how books, creativity, and community spaces like libraries can help people manage stress, build confidence, and find connection.
Free Tickets Available
The event is free, but all attendees must have a ticket to watch the podcast live in the library. Tickets can be booked through North Bridlington Library.
For those unable to attend in person, the podcast will be broadcast live on Facebook (@ERLibraries) and Instagram (@eastridinglibraries) — no booking required, just tune in on the day.
