Organisations Urged to Apply for HAF Easter Grants Before January Deadline

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is inviting new organisations and schools to join its Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, with a fresh round of funding available for those able to deliver sessions during the upcoming Easter holidays.
The council is encouraging community groups, charities, schools, and activity providers to step forward—or to share the opportunity with others who may be interested. The HAF programme supports children and young people with enriching activities during school breaks, and the council hopes to expand its network of partners for 2026.
Organisations can apply for up to £5,000 in funding for Easter delivery, with the potential to access up to £70,000 annually for those offering a broader range of sessions throughout the year. Activities can include sport, play, drama, cooking, crafts, dance, music, healthy lifestyle sessions, art, outdoor adventures, and more.
The council emphasises that the deadline for applications is fast approaching, with completed forms required by Thursday 29 January 2026 at noon.
Groups interested in making a difference for local families are encouraged to apply promptly to secure funding for the Easter programme.
