Europe’s Top Anglers Set for East Yorkshire Coast in 2026 - Tickets Now on Sale

The East Yorkshire coast is gearing up to welcome anglers from across the UK and Europe as the 32nd Paul Roggeman European Open Beach Championship (EOBC) returns from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th March 2026.
Organised by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, the three‑day competition spans the coastline from North Marine Promenade in Bridlington all the way down to Pilot Jetty at Spurn Point. It remains one of Europe’s biggest and most prestigious beach fishing events.
Competitors will be in with a chance of winning major cash prizes, top‑quality fishing gear, and picking up new skills, tactics and techniques across a packed weekend. A range of exhibitors will also be on hand offering expert advice and exclusive deals.
Every angler entering the main competition will also be included in the Golden Ticket Draw, with a stay at Sand‑Le‑Mere Holiday Park up for grabs.
Tickets are available now at www.eobc.co.uk until Thursday 26th February. Prices are £30 for seniors and £20 for juniors, with Pairs and Team of Four options also on sale. Demand is traditionally high, with anglers travelling from across Europe, so early booking is advised.

Flattie Bash – The Weekend Warm‑Up
The hugely popular Flattie Bash returns on Friday 13th March, kicking off the weekend’s action.
This catch‑and‑release event runs between Fraisthorpe, Bridlington and Hornsea, with fishing from 10am–2pm.Entry is £10 per person (cash only), with registration on the day at Hornsea Floral Hall from 7am–9.15am.

It brings anglers from across the country and the continent to our beautiful coast, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to the area for a welcome boost to the East Riding economy in early 2026.”
