As Bridlington prepares to mark Remembrance Sunday, the Town Council has released details to help residents and visitors navigate the day with ease and respect.

Bridlington residents are invited to gather for a commemorative parade and service honouring local heritage and remembrance.
Participants, including the parade and band, are asked to assemble at Station Approach by 10:30am. The procession will begin promptly at 10:40am, making its way to the War Memorial Gardens where a service is scheduled to commence at approximately 10:55am.
Following the ceremony, the parade will continue along King Street before formally dispersing.
🚗 Parking Notice: Free parking will be available throughout the event in all East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC) and Harbour Commissioners car parks, ensuring easy access for attendees.
For those planning to attend, early arrival is encouraged to secure a good viewing spot and take advantage of the complimentary parking.

The official Order of Service will be available in print on the day, with volunteers from Bridlington Town Council and HEY Bridlington on hand to distribute copies. Look out for Town Council helpers in yellow high-visibility vests and HEY Bridlington volunteers in their distinctive blue and pink jackets.

To ensure public safety and peace of mind, a designated lost child or person point will be set up at the entrance to Palace Car Park. First aid support will be available nearby, located on the corner of Wellington Road by Christ Church.

The Town Council encourages everyone to attend and take part in this important day of remembrance, honouring those who served and sacrificed.
