Bridlington Ice Trail Returns with a Coastal Christmas Spectacle

Bridlington is set to shimmer this November as the beloved Bridlington Ice Trail makes its festive return, bringing the magic of Christmas on the Coast to the heart of our seaside town. This free, family-friendly event runs Saturday 15 November from 11am to 5.30pm and Sunday 16 November from 11am to 3.30pm, promising two days of icy enchantment and seasonal cheer.

A Trail of Frozen Wonders

Wander through Bridlington’s town centre with an Ice Trail map in hand, discovering a glittering lineup of hand-carved ice sculptures inspired by traditional Christmas scenes and maritime marvels. As dusk falls, the sculptures will be illuminated in a dazzling light display, transforming the town into a coastal winter wonderland.

Live Ice Carving & Interactive Fun

Outside HSBC on Manor Street, the talented team from Glacial Art will be sculpting live from 11am each day, turning blocks of ice into breathtaking festive creations over three hours. Feeling inspired? Head to Garrison Square from 11.30am to try your hand at carving on the interactive ice wall, with expert guidance from the artists themselves.

Fire & Ice Spectacle at Regent Gardens

Don’t miss the dramatic Fire and Ice shows at Regent Gardens—15-minute performances blending chainsaw ice sculpting with choreographed pyrotechnics set to music. Catch the spectacle at 1pm and 4pm on Saturday, and 1pm and 3.30pm on Sunday.

Festive Entertainment Across Town

The weekend will be brimming with festive spirit, featuring performances from the All For One Choir, the joyful jingling of Morris Dancers, and a special appearance from Santa Claus himself. Plus, Bridlington’s Christmas Food Festival on King Street offers seasonal treats and shopping galore.
