Bridlington faced significant disruption yesterday as Storm Amy swept through the region, bringing fierce winds that toppled trees and blocked key routes.
One of the worst-hit areas was Fortyfoot, where a large tree was felled by the gusts, rendering the road impassable. Police swiftly closed the route, and local volunteers worked to remove debris from the scene. The road is now deemed safe for travel.
